I've been tagged by Tricia to name six of my quirks on this here blog...because there wouldn't be enough room for ALL of them...
Here it goes:
1)When I have to get more than one of something, but not an exact number, I like having an odd number of them. I don't have to do this (can you say OCD?), but I like having 3, 5, or 7 of something (like thumbtacks or M&M's).
2)When I read a book that I haven't read before, I usually read it twice in a row...usually in the same day.
3)I love using parenthesis (parenthesi?), ellipsi, and semi-colons to the point of abusing the English language; I often rearrange the grammatical order of my written thoughts to fit them in. (I actually once wrote an essay for an English course with 10 semi-colons just to prove I could do it HA!)...I'm so nerdy...
4)Singing tenor is much easier for me than singing alto most of the time.
5)I have a illogical and deep dislike of chickens.
6)I have a group of hairs in my bangs that point straight up when they get too long.

As far as school and such goes... same old. BUT!- we will be painting a Halloween mural this coming week on our living room window, so I'll take some pictures.

And just as a reminder to all of you who may be interested in helping out, Proposition 8 is still in full effect and needs our help. I know that Justin and Angela have mentioned it on their blog, but I think this is really important, so...

www.WhatisProp8.com
We've had express pleas from prominent leaders of the church (including bishops in our wards) to help support the cause of preserving the sacred mission of the family. Proposition 8 brings options to help alert and assist people with the changes that are being moved forward to add in same sex marriage as a definition of family.
This also has the repercussions that will affect much more than just how our family is defined in public and in writing.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go to the sites I wrote up there and at least see what's going on. It's no longer an excuse to say we are ignorant of political affairs because we are too busy or don't understand them.
It's our duty to do the best we can with what we are given. This, I believe, means also that we need to be well-informed and "anxiously engaged".
Even if it seems I am being melo-dramatic about this, I would encourage you to at least give a small bit of support in this, before it grows too large for us to handle. ... I want the world my children, and the children in my classes have to face to be a world of opportunity and safety, not a place of confusion and disquiet.
please help.

Those are definitely some funny quirks!
I'm getting tired of seeing these Mormon spambots everywhere.
Anytime you see www.whatisprop8.com, you know it's coming from a member of the LDS church.
Head over and check out “How to Blog About Prop 8″ at http://www.whatisprop8.com/how-to-blog-about-prop-8.html …
It’s basically a primer for Mormons on how to become Latter Day Spammers.
A quick check of the comments sections under the news articles that turn up from a search for Prop 8 terms reveals numerous drive-by comments with convoluted "Yes on 8 = tolerance" arguments and always accompanied by a link to www.whatisprop8.com ...
This approach reminds me of some of the stuff I saw getting tried during the Romney campaign. In the current campaign, I don’t think such tactics are well-suited for the target voters the Yes on 8 campaign needs if they’re going to actually win this thing. Californians who’d be persuaded by such obvious tactics are more than likely either not going to vote or are already planning to vote Yes.
